JOB SUMMARY
The Director Sponsorship and Corporate Partnerships will lead a major institutional refocus on the corporate sector, generating a list of new high-level prospects, creating engagement strategies and actively working on cultivation and solicitation. This position will work with philanthropy leadership and the marketing team on active recruitment of potential sponsors and will work towards doubling revenue from this budget line over a two-year period. The Director is responsible for corporate engagement, from solicitation to fulfillment to recognition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Identify, cultivate and solicit new sources of corporate support, through a proactive identification, education and engagement strategy. Deploy resources across NCH in service to said sponsorship opportunities.
· Create sponsorship strategy by sector and service line (technology, finance, pharmaceutical, retail, travel, hospitality, etc.) and develop timeline, value proposition, and revenue forecast.
· Reevaluate sponsorship benefits and rescale benefits for larger sponsorship gifts.
· Solicit in-kind sponsorships to meet NCH needs across all service lines.
· Manage communication with designated relationships through meetings, site-visits, personal cultivation and event invitations, steward existing sponsors and partners.
· Manage administration of sponsorship efforts, including tracking income and expense budgets; and creating and maintaining annual solicitation, acquisition, stewardship and reporting calendars.
· Oversee the maintenance of all corporate records, as well as those funders associated with selecting special projects.
· Ensure proper fulfillment of sponsorship deliverables and activation, complex agreements with major sponsors, and contractual obligations, including managing NCH corporate giving benefits and ensuring proper credit in all print and digital materials.
· Track requests, approvals, and impact of sponsorship NCH provides to external partners. Provide monthly report of spending and activity and develop KPIs that measure efficacy of dollars spent.
· Develop and oversee budget for annual sponsorships that NCH provides, aligning organizational strategy and mission with funds allocated.
· Support the development of detailed and compelling proposals and reports; follow up on requests and report requirements related to grants.
· Manage correspondence with funders and prospects on a timely basis.
· Acquire and steward corporate donors with excellence and accuracy; establish a program for growth up the giving ladder. Evaluate corporate benefits and determine servicing budgets.
· Entertain and cultivate current and prospective funders during the season; attend select functions and special events.
· Liaise with all departments across NCH to source corporate giving opportunities to underwrite operational expenses and activities.
· Build out sponsorship packages for each opportunity on an ongoing basis, bringing to bear knowledge and experience about corporate goals and partner with marketing and philanthropy staff to develop high-impact sponsorship materials.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
· Minimum of 5+ years of development experience, with an emphasis on institutional and corporate fundraising and proven track record of securing large gifts.
· Superior writing skills, with the ability to create persuasive and descriptive written materials.
· Ability to manage a campaign within the constructs of an overall development operation, coordinating all campaign efforts with other institutional priorities and goals.
· Exceptional communication skills and professionalism with high-profile individuals.
· Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience with task management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Asana) preferred.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Diplomatic and able to collaborate respectfully with a diverse range of people.
· Maintain professionalism under pressure, demonstrating patience and discretion.
· Ability to work collaboratively and resolve issues independently.
· Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
