JOB SUMMARY
Assistant Vice President Design and Project Management creates Schematic Design (SD) drawings for project development, creates budget projections and oversees the construction process and project managers. Works closely with EPMO leadership to create timelines and construction updates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Other duties may be assigned.
· Creates conceptual drawing for all renovation projects.
· Assists in the creation of SD drawings on new construction.
· Interfaces with architect in the development of Design and Construction drawings.
· Holds Stakeholder meetings to ensure construction supports operational need.
· Interfaces with End Users to ensure projects supports operational need.
· Assists in the creation of project budget and capital creation process.
· Creates bid documents and assists in GC selection.
· Creates NCH construction and finish standards.
· Assists in VE process of project development.
· Acts as “Owners Representative” for NCH renovation projects.
· Interfaces with Materials Management for creation of equipment lists for construction projects.
· Creates project summary and timeline reports.
· Attends all project OAC meetings.
· Maintains hours charged to each construction project.
· Attends all AHCA reviews.
· Interfaces with external engineering firms to ensure project completion.
· Creates reports and interfaces with EPMO group for project intake and development.
· Infaces with leadership as needed to support project development.
· Assists in the strategic planning of NCH campus and buildings.
· Ensures warranty repairs and 1 year project walks occur.
· Assists in the creation of equipment lists inside computer maintenance management system (CMMS).
· Interfaces with Administrative Director Corporate Real Estate and Construction in the selection and viability of new properties or locations.
· Attend annual AHCA meetings to ensure regulatory compliance.
· Attends zoning and review board meetings as necessary to support NCH vision and mission.
· Adheres to policies and standards of NCH.
· Organizes and runs scheduling and design reviews.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
· A minimum of bachelor’s degree in architecture/design or related field or equivalent credit hours from an accredited school.
· Minimum of 15 years of experience in architecture/design or related field with progressive leadership roles.
· Proficient in project development and creation software and “CAD/REV” systems.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project Scheduling Software.
· Demonstrated organizational and communication skills.
· Experienced with local and state level regulatory agencies.
