JOB SUMMARY
The Facility Manager directs day-to-day operations of the Naples Community Hospital facility, responding to staff, patients, and visitor’s concerns in the area of plant operation. Works with staff at the county and city level on facility matters concerning Naples Community Hospital. Coordinates Renovation projects within the hospital. Develops capital and operating budgets, ensures compliance and analyses variances.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Understands and participates in the annual forecasting/budgeting process to accurately plan for future resource needs, including personnel, space, equipment, and materials.
· Works to maintain and utilize resources and services in a manner which results in a clean, safe, and pleasant customer environment.
· Utilizes time management skills in order to increase overall individual and departmental efficiency. Appropriately delegates tasks to subordinates.
· Understands the JCAHO Accreditation process, the importance of the process and Accreditation, their department’s role in the process, and how they may impact other departments.
· Displays positive leadership traits by role modeling, staff development, fostering loyalty to the department and organization.
· Ensures that personnel are appropriately trained and that correct staffing levels are maintained. Works to maintain high morale within the department. Understands current policies and procedures relating to employment and consistently follows these procedures.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of experience in facility management OR High School/GED with 9 years in facility management in lieu of education required.
· Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
