JOB SUMMARY

The Physician Engagement Manager supports NCH’s strategic vision by promoting NCH services to employed and community physicians, fostering strong professional relationships, and increasing referral activity. This role involves evaluating market data, identifying service gaps, and resolving issues within assigned territories and targeted physician practices. The Physician Engagement Manager facilitates face-to-face communication, creates, and fosters relationships with internal and external community providers and office staff, and promotes core and specialty services, hospital services, and physicians to enhance referral activities. By collaborating closely with the Director of Physician Outreach and other stakeholders, the Physician Engagement Manager contributes to the growth and success of NCH.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Conduct market analysis to evaluate referral patterns, identify opportunities for growth, and address referral leakage using data-driven insights.

· Collaborate with the Director of Physician Outreach and executive leadership to prioritize initiatives aligned with community needs and organizational goals.

· Assist in the development of strategies and business plans for physician outreach in coordination with NCH leadership.

· Conduct regular office visits with local healthcare providers to educate them about NCH services, maintain community presence, and facilitate communication between NCH and referring physicians.

· Ensure achievement of reach, frequency, and call goals by making targeted visits to provider offices.

· Coordinate with marketing team to arrange educational programs, speaking engagements, and marketing collateral for local providers and community groups.

· Collaborate with physician office staff and marketing to develop educational materials and presentations highlighting NCH services.

· Educate referring office staff and physicians about the benefits of referrals to NCH through various channels such as office visits, lunch and learns, and other interactions.

· Gather and maintain market-related information, including business trends and competitor analysis.

· Coordinate with relevant committees and departments within NCH to address physician concerns and requests.

· Assist physicians with IT-related inquiries and concerns, working closely with the NCH IT department.

· Develop marketing materials and speeches for physician office visits, incorporating input from NCH Executive Leadership and marketing.

· Maintain detailed records of physician interactions and requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

· Collaborate with external partners such as Mayo Clinic and Nicklaus Children’s Health System to strengthen departmental initiatives through onsite visits, shadowing opportunities, and conference calls.

· Foster and strengthen existing business relationships while increasing referral volume from current referring practices.

· Contribute to the strategic marketing plan for outpatient services in partnership with the marketing team to maximize revenue.

· Provide regular updates to the NCH Executive Leadership team on physician meetings, feedback, successes, and challenges.

· Participate in semi-annual reviews with the Executive Leadership team to assess the impact of physician outreach efforts on brand loyalty, awareness, and referral activity.

· Perform other duties and projects as assigned by NCH Strategy and Executive Leadership team.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    · Minimum of Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, healthcare, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

    · Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in healthcare administration, medical sales, or marketing.

    · Current, valid Florida Driver’s License that passes the Motor Vehicle Department background check.

    · Knowledge of medical practice operations preferred.

    · Proficiency in medical terminology and acumen.

    · Strong critical thinking, interpersonal communication, public speaking, and organizational skills.

    · Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
