JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst ASC, under the limited supervision of the AR Manager, performs reconciliations, financial reporting, and analysis. Responsibilities include managing the month-end closing processes for the Ambulatory Surgical Centers, ensuring compliance with GAAP and supporting audits. This is a key role within the department, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned.
· The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Controller, Accounting Director, and AR Manager in various monthly tasks.
· Complete monthly variance analysis of revenue and expense accounts, including reconciling balance sheet AR accounts.
· Prepare monthly journal entries for all Ambulatory Surgical Center activities.
· Assist with the preparation of 1120 returns, quarterly sales tax return, and tangible personal property return.
· Serve as back up to all treasury functions, miscellaneous AR, and prepaid schedules.
· Play a key role in the implementation of the new accounting system.
· Prepare the Ambulatory Surgical Center financial packages monthly.
· Work on ad-hoc requests as assigned.
· Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
· Minimum of 3 years of related experience required; preferably in hospital/healthcare.
· Attention to detail needed
· Excellent analytical skills needed
· Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
This position requires daily attendance in the Naples, Florida office.
