JOB SUMMARY

The Coordinator RHI Providers assists the Leadership as well as assigned Physicians at RHI with administrative tasks. The Coordinator RHI Providers creates, communicates, and edits all schedules for the RHI Providers to ensure coverage is always available for patients for all services offered by RHI. This includes doing the emergency call schedules for the hospital cardiology services. The Coordinator RHI Providers also coordinates all aspects of the providers’ compliance and administrative needs. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

– Other duties may be assigned.

· Assists assigned Providers and Directors with scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, and all other administrative tasks

· Develops quarterly call schedules for clinical team RHI, interventional team RHI, electrophysiology team RHI, APP team for RHI; develops monthly schedule for Code Save A Heart ER coverage and General Cardiology ER coverage

· Creates monthly Combined Call Schedule for RHI group coverage as well as RHI Doctor of the Day schedule and distributes to all necessary departments

· Posts all schedules to AMION for CSAH, General Cardiology, and RHI

· Manages all call schedule changes and ensures information is communicated to all necessary parties

· Posts all call schedules to the answering service site (Telemed)

· Blocks /unblocks all physician schedules as they utilize DOT and helps the Clinical Director determine coverage for all areas of service: (North Collier clinical, NCH clinical, NCH intervention coverage, NCH EP coverage, Stress Lab physician coverage, APP coverage with time off

· Assists Supervisor with CT Surgery on call schedules by posting to TeleMed and Amion.

· Assists with setting up interviews for Director and Clinical Supervisor for APPs and all other clinical/clerical positions

· Assists onboarding of new Providers to include ordering lab coats, business cards, office signs if needed, and IT equipment (computer, keyboard etc.)

· Facilitates creating new providers schedules in Rev Cycle and EPIC with the IT team

· Helps obtain physicians’ signatures as needed by credentialing and Medical Staff from time to time

· Assists physicians with renewing licenses (medical and DEA), scheduling and tracking BLS and ACLS required classes, and subsequent reimbursement

· Assists with credentialing/recredentialing of physicians

    · Schedules and sets up staff meetings for RHI

      EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

      · Minimum of Associates Degree with 3 years of experience in a clerical office setting OR 6 years of relevant administrative experience required. Healthcare experience preferred.

      · Strong Communication (both written and verbal), Organization, and Problem-Solving skills.

      · Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

      · Ability to communicate and work effectively, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor, with patients and employees, at all levels in the company.

      · Ability to organize and prioritize workload.

      · Excellent customer service skills.

      · Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player.
