JOB SUMMARY
The Coordinator Physician Recruitment NCH Medical Group coordinates and provides professional assistance as needed to support The Chief Ambulatory Officer in daily operations including, but not limited to, Patient Satisfaction/Quality Management issues for NCH Medical Group, Medical Group Providers and Staff inquires, all aspects of recruitment planning, communication and finalizing offers for physicians and advanced practice professionals (NP/PA), and assistance as needed to assure optimal operating efficiency for the NCH Medical Group Leadership Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist with identifying physician candidates for recruitment based on direction given by Senior Management, in support of meeting the business goals of the health system’s Strategic Plan.
· Helps establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with business and human resource leaders to discuss needs and to understand job descriptions and corresponding qualifications required of job candidates.
· Prospects physician candidates utilizing tools such as cold calling databases, and usage of NCH-approved Recruitment firms, and internet searches.
· During recruitment activities, promptly provides prospective physician candidates with information regarding NCH Comprehensive Health, our community, and service area.
· Demonstrates accountability for the physician recruitment process from the initial contact to closure in a timely and cost-effective manner.
· Assist with matching physician candidates with current opportunities; completes thorough screening and reviews qualifications to establish potential suitability/organizational fit.
· Provides timely information to directors prior to on-site visits of physician candidates; coordinates site interview itinerary with Administration, for health system interview, and community and real estate tour.
· Demonstrates flexibility and availability to scheduling physician candidate on site visits to include availability on nights and weekends, to accommodate physician’s schedule.
· Provides timely follow up with the physician candidates throughout the recruiting process including the offer, negotiations, relocation, contract signing.
· Remains current on industry trends and serve as adviser for physician recruiting-related issues and serve as a company representative at various national, regional, and residency meetings.
· Coordinates onboarding with Human Resources Department, Medical Staff Office, and NCH Medical Group Payor Credentialing to ensure that they are aware of all providers in the agreement process that require onboarding and privileging in a timely manner.
· Assist NCH Medical Group Leadership with drafting physician agreements and LOI’s for all service lines, which includes follow up with NCH Medical Group leadership for clarification and obtaining any outstanding information needed to complete agreement.
· Develop, negotiate, and maintain contracts with all providers, under guidance of CAO.
· Facilitate the approval process of all contract documents from pre-contract through post-signature phases.
· Provides receptive support to issues that influence quality of service to NCH Medical Group patients, customers, and outside departments. Effectively completes tasks within departmental standards. Ensures that the information is passed along timely to minimize wait times.
· Demonstrates positive attitude, cooperation, discretion, and respect to all team members at all times. Maintains a professional level of helpfulness, understanding, respect, trust and open mindedness while carrying out daily functions.
· Provides input to issues that will enhance working conditions, atmosphere productivity or any other condition in support of team members and/or team goals.
· Provides support services in preparing memos, correspondence, contracts as directed and in scheduling meetings. Answers telephone calls, relays message and returns phone calls to patients, physician offices and other departments with requested information.
· Handles routine distribution and collection of administrative information, such as payroll, accounts payable and travel arrangements.
· Demonstrates effective professional communication and excellent customer service skills based on positive attitudes and values.
· Clearly understands purposes, objectives, practices, and policies and procedures of the System.
· Effectively controls costs through the economical utilization of supplies and equipment.
· Effectively and efficiently able to develop stats, charts, graphs, and information packets as requested by NCH Medical Group Senior Leadership.
· Responsible for assisting internal and external customers with immediate problems.
· Works cooperatively towards the identification of areas needing improvement.
· Prepares check requests and RFP’s for the NCH Medical Group.
· Demonstrates the ability to utilize Word, Excel, and Outlook and assists with statistics, agendas and minutes and distributes as needed.
· Follows NCH policies and adheres to the Code of Conduct.
· Works independently and successfully copes with demands from superiors, subordinates, and peers.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of Associates Degree with 5 years of experience in a clerical office setting OR High School/GED with 8 years of relevant administrative experience required. Healthcare experience preferred.
· Strong computer graphing and reporting skills required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Payroll experience preferred.
· Ability to communicate and work effectively with patients and employees at all levels in the company.
· Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
· Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Ability to maintain a courteous and professional demeanor.
