JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Blood Donor Recruiter develops, oversees and participates in all marketing, public relations, education and recruiting as it relates to procurement of blood and components. The position requires the ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines and display strong customer service skills. Activities will be conducted in accordance with cGMP’s, regulatory and departmental compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Understands industry compliance and regulatory standards (FDA, AABB, cGMPs) as they relate to duties and performs all processes in compliance with them.
· Works with the community to maintain an adequate donor base through fixed-site and mobile collections.
· Works with the community to expand donor base to meet growing community needs (cold calls-new group accounts).
· Coordinates and schedules mobile blood drives taking into consideration the needs of group account, staffing issues, and current and upcoming inventory assessments.
· Accurately projects collections and productive man-hours for mobile drives.
· Develops, markets and conducts educational and special events information to donors, media, and other outside community representatives.
· Acts as the media liaison for public awareness and education.
· Drives productivity to assure collection goals are reached.
· Obtains donor information and assesses donor eligibility/suitability.
· Responds to calls, leads, donors and clients in a prompt, positive and professional manner.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of High School or GED required.
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing, media or public relations required.
· Must have current, valid Florida Driver’s License that passes the Motor Vehicle Department background check.
· Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
