JOB SUMMARY
The Advanced Practice Provider is an advanced practice nurse who is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of illness, and the delivery of evidence-based nursing interventions for patients of the NCH Physician Group. The APP works in collaboration with the APPs, management team, peers and staff to advance nursing and promote the development of an evidence-based professional practice environment. Further, the APP works under the approved and agreed protocols signed by the supervising NCH Physician Group physician. The APP works to continually improve clinical outcomes, facilitate throughput, and provide clinical expertise to effect system-wide changes to improve programs of care.
