JOB SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Associate provides support to the talent team by handling essential administrative and analytical tasks to support the full recruitment lifecycle. The Talent Acquisition Associate serves as an integral partner with candidates, onboarding specialists, recruiters, hiring managers and other partners to help support the talent team with their talent pool. The Talent Acquisition Associate assists the team with managing recruitment logistics, candidate progress, and ensuring the efficiency of the hiring process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned.
· Acts as the liaison to onboarding all contractors, travelers and providers for NCH
· Generates reports, analyzes data/talent acquisition metrics & creates dashboards to identify trends and/or areas of concern
· Creates and implements strategies for building an ongoing pipeline of talent
· Works closely with all key stakeholders to develop creative ways for addressing recruitment challenges
· Performs various audits to ensure accuracy, makes recommendations and implements process improvements
· Prepares and sends out the orientation schedule to the new hire/transfer employees and Manager/Directors
· Attends all new Employee Orientations to assist with setup, check-in, and welcomes new employees with a customer service-oriented approach, creating excitement and a welcoming environment for new employees to start their career at NCH
· Assists in verifying reference/background screening checks on applicants who are pending offers of employment
· Acts as a resource for new employee’s general questions
· Assists with special projects as needed
· Working with HR and department leaders, plans and implements an innovative recruitment strategy, to attract high-quality applicants.
· Maintains Procedures Manual for this role ensuring all processes and procedures are current and up to date including information on the Intranet
· Collaborates with, is cross trained in, and performs basic job duties of other HR staff. Serves as a Human Resources professional and can assist customers in all basic HR functions.
· Perform as an essential employee for the Human Resources Department. Essential employees are those who have critical functions to support the organization during and immediately after a weather disaster or pandemic. Essential employees are expected to report for duty as scheduled.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of an Associate Degree with 1 year of experience in HR, recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or related field OR High School/GED with 3 years’ experience in HR, recruitment, Talent Acquisition or related field required.
· Must be able to prepare and analyze reports and presentations and present ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the analytical ability to solve problems and issues.
· Strong analytical, organizational skills communication skills required.
