JOB SUMMARY
The Director Healthcare is responsible for the successful implementation of the Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF) Healthcare related initiatives. Director Healthcare must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily while exercising independent judgment and discretion based on the guidelines and parameters established by NCEF leadership. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Implements NCEF Healthcare initiatives (Mental Health, Oral Health, and Vision) as described in the project blueprint and under the guidance of NCEF Leadership.
· Facilitates collaborative agreements among Healthcare related initiative partners that align to initiative goals and strengthen outcomes.
· Identifies strategies to strengthen each of the Mental Health, Oral Health and Vision collaboratives and individual members and assists to acquire resources to meet higher standards.
· Establishes a cadence of accountability among all partners to reach key goals including collaboratively identifying lead measures to predict improvement and growth in OST programs while monitoring and reporting on progress toward goals.
· Administers appropriate components of assigned budget.
· Collaborates with local healthcare professionals to ensure two-way communication regarding program needs is ongoing.
· Provides oral and written reports to the NCEF staff, funders, and partners.
· Facilitates partnerships with additional public and private agencies to expand services to children and families
· Assess current initiatives to identify strengths, and opportunities for growth.
· Identifies potential funders and prepares additional proposals for future funding.
Working Relations
· Internal - Interfaces with NCH staff and management on a daily basis to give and receive information.
· External - Interfaces with Healthcare initiative partners, local pediatricians, Collier County Public School District, Dept. of Health, and school staff, state and federal agencies, suppliers, and the general public to exchange, gather, or provide information on projects or programs.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree required.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in grant administration or business operations, managing budgets and implementing project plans.
· Experience in meeting task deadlines, and working directly with partners, community groups, administrators, teachers, and other staff.
· Experience and successful track record in developing proposals and grant writing.
· Experience in leadership and leadership development, preferred.
· Knowledge of diverse funding opportunities and program fiscal management.
· Experience in working with community agencies, school systems, families, and youth, especially at-risk and/or low income.
· Reliable transportation is necessary for travel throughout the workforce development region.
· May attend various functions and meetings which may occur before or after normal business hours and/or weekends. Valid Florida Driver’s License and Insurance.
